CEEMediaHub unveils new drama slate for MIPCOM
MediaHub is at MIPCOM Cannes at stand P-1.G50 with its most diverse slate yet. The lineup spans new drama from Turkey, Korea, the Philippines and Greece, and the Netherlands alongside a growing factual catalog.
At the center of the offer are three new Turkish dramas: Roses, Close to You and Take My Hand. MediaHub will also give buyers a first look at new Korean titles from its expanding partnership with KT Studio Genie. The slate is rounded out by several new dramas from ABS-CBN, a selection of Greek series from MEGA, a deepening collaboration with Dutch Core on limited series, and unscripted docuseries from Omava and Gauchos del Mar. Among the new Turkish titles is the new release Roses (Aşk Yarası). When Pars discovers his father is alive, he leaves a life of poverty to become heir to the wealthy Akabey family. To end a family feud, he marries a stranger, Asya, while still haunted by his first love. Close to You (Kalbim Sende) is a heartfelt family drama about love, loss and the lengths a mother will go to. After losing her daughter Mavi, Deniz donates the child's heart to save another girl, Ada. Unable to let go, she secretly becomes Ada's nanny. As she grows close to the girl and falls for her father, Ateş, she must keep hidden the truth that binds them all together. "At its heart, Close to You is about a mother's love and how far it reaches, even after loss," said Elif Turna, Sales and Business Development Manager for Americas & Europe at MediaHub. "The bond between a mother and a child is something every audience understands, whatever language they speak. Deniz's story is heartbreaking, but it's also full of hope, and that's what makes it travel." On the romance side, Take My Hand (Tut Elimi) follows Aslan, heir to a powerful dynasty, and Elvan, a young woman betrayed by her own family. After a tragic accident binds them together, the two enter a marriage of convenience born of guilt and sacrifice. What begins as an obligation slowly becomes something neither of them expected. MediaHub will also present its Korean scripted slate from KT Studio Genie, the studio arm of Korean telecoms and media group KT. The titles span family drama, romance, legal thriller, mystery and fantasy, including Mother and Mom, Namib, Parole Examiner Lee, Strangers Again and Unlock My Boss. The company is now expanding the partnership with new titles to be announced shortly both with KT Studio Genie and Dutch Core, signs of a deepening partnership, and buyers can get a first look at MediaHub's stand in Cannes. "Our slate is growing, and we're growing it carefully," said Ebubekir Talha Erdoğan, Sales Manager for the Middle East, CIS and Asia at MediaHub. "Our partnership with KT Studio Genie has been a great fit for our buyers, and we're expanding it, with new Korean titles to be announced very soon." From the Philippines, long-standing partner ABS-CBN, one of the region's most prolific studios with seven new titles released since the start of 2026 alone, brings several new dramas to MediaHub's slate. They include The Silent Noise, The Loyalty Game, Blood vs. Duty and The Alibi. MediaHub also brings Greek drama to the market through its collaboration with MEGA, one of Greece's leading broadcasters. The selection includes Shipwreck, The Innocents, Terra Olivae and Hotel Elvira, and many more. MediaHub also continues to promote and develop its own original productions to buyers across the globe on journey that started with Alaca, that now continues with Bitter Justice (Aşka Mahkum). On the factual side, MediaHub offers docuseries from Omava, including Stop! Border Control, Airport Security and Metropoli, four of which have been acquired by AMC Networks International for Europe. It also handles adventure documentaries from Argentina's Gauchos del Mar, the surfing brothers Julián and Joaquín Azulay, whose titles include African Territory and Transcending Waves. RELATED
