CME reports higher revenue and profit in 2025 driven by advertising and streaming growth
 02 Jun 2026
Central European Media Enterprises (CME), the media group owned by PPF Group and parent company of broadcasters including TV Nova, delivered strong financial results in 2025, posting growth in revenue, operating profit, and net income.

According to figures released as part of PPF’s 2025 annual report, CME increased revenue by 12% year-on-year to €1.08 billion. Operating profit rose 7% to €244 million, while net profit climbed 25% to €165 million.

The company attributed the growth primarily to higher television advertising revenue, increasing usage of its streaming services, and the continued expansion of its digital platforms. CME's total assets stood at €2.49 billion at the end of 2025, while shareholders’ equity reached €1.36 billion.

CME said its “anytime, anywhere” strategy, which combines traditional linear television with digital content distribution, continued to drive performance across the region. The company highlighted strong growth in online video consumption and the ongoing expansion of streaming platform Voyo as key contributors to the results.

One of the group's most significant developments during the year was the launch of Oneplay in the Czech market. The service was created through the integration of Voyo and O2 TV and represents a joint initiative between TV Nova and O2 Czech Republic.

According to CME, Oneplay generated nearly three billion video views during its first year of operation, while users collectively spent 1.6 billion hours consuming content on the platform. The company also reported strong brand awareness, with one in five respondents naming Oneplay as the first streaming service that came to mind in consumer surveys.

Alongside its streaming expansion, CME continued investing heavily in local content production. Original Voyo productions received numerous awards across the region, including the Czech crime drama series The Markovič Method: Hojer, which won three Czech Lion awards.

The group also expanded Voyo beyond markets where it operates television stations. Through a partnership with Yettel, the streaming service was launched in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

News and current affairs remain a strategic pillar for the company. CME continues to operate a shared Brussels newsroom that provides coverage of European Union, NATO, and broader European political developments for all broadcasters within its portfolio.

In sports, CME further strengthened its premium content offering during 2025, including the acquisition of Formula 1 broadcasting rights for Croatia and Slovenia.

CME currently operates across Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. The company manages 47 television channels, reaches approximately 49 million viewers, and had more than 100 new projects in development for both linear television and streaming platforms during 2025.
