CEETTV goes Down the Road again
Primitives announced that it has licensed the award-winning factual entertainment format Down the Road to Poland’s TTV, marking the return of the series to the channel with a brand-new season. Wiernik Pro is currently in production, with the new series set to air this fall.
Originally created in Belgium by Roses are Blue for VRT1, Down the Road follows a group of young adults with Down syndrome as they embark on a life-changing journey, gaining independence, confidence and new perspectives along the way. The format combines authentic storytelling with clear social impact, engaging a broad audience. Since its launch, Down the Road has been adapted in multiple international markets, including an upcoming series for French channel Gulli. Poland was the second territory worldwide to adapt Down the Road, and the format has previously enjoyed strong popularity on TTV, where three seasons have already aired between 2019 and 2021. The upcoming season introduces a refreshed approach, with the program hosted by Monika Hoffman-Piszora, well known to Polish audiences for her openness, empathy and personal commitment to themes of inclusion, diversity and family life. “Down the Road connects with people because it shows real friendships and offers a perspective on disability that feels genuine and full of respect,” said Emma Gosling, Sales & Marketing Manager at Primitives. “We’re incredibly happy to see it return to Poland, especially as it was one of the very first countries to embrace the format.” RELATED
