One of the most highly anticipated series of the new fall season is Lovers & Liars, the new Ay Yapim drama about a brilliant lawyer and a fearless con artist who join forces to hide a secret that could destroy them both. The primetime drama reunites writer Sema Ergenekon and director Ali Bilgin, who collaborated on the International Emmy ® winning series Family Secrets. Lovers & Liars premiered October 12 on NOW under the title Sahtekarlar which marked the best premiere of the new season until now. Ertan Aydin is one of Istanbul’s top lawyers, confident, calculating, and trained by his father to win at any cost. When his father dies suddenly, Ertan learns he was hiding a secret that could upend everything he thought he knew about himself. To protect that secret, Ertan enlists Asya, a street-smart con artist struggling to keep her family afloat. Together, they stage a dangerous deception inside one of the country’s most powerful families. Asya thinks she’s using Ertan to escape her debts. Ertan thinks he’s using her to protect his name. But the game quickly turns personal, as lies become leverage, alliances shift, and emotions cloud the plan. In a world where truth is just another trick, Ertan and Asya will learn that the biggest con may be the one they’re playing on themselves. My Beautiful Revenge is the new primetime drama from NTC Medya about a woman who infiltrates an ultra-elite enclave on the Aegean in search of her father’s killer. The series features an all-star ensemble including Burçin Terzioğlu (For My Son, Mercy), Gökçe Eyüboğlu (My Wonderful Life, All About Marriage, Woman), Selin Şekerci (Starting Over, My Little Girl, Runaway Brides), Duygu Sarışın (Red Roses, Stiletto Vendetta), Deniz Tansel Öngel (The Innocents) and Özgür Çevik (Twisted Affairs, Orphan Flowers, The Foreign Groom). The series reunites One More Chance writer Yekta Torun and director Semih Bağcı in a high-stakes cat and mouse game set in a world of glamour and privilege. My Beautiful Revenge airs Saturday nights on NOW under the title Ben Leman. Behind the gleaming walls of Güzelköy lies Turkey’s most exclusive seaside enclave — a place where privilege is inherited, beauty is curated, and the elite answer to no one. At the center is Mayor Şahika Karaca and her two lifelong allies, Mine and Suzi — glamorous, ruthless power brokers who guard their status as fiercely as they guard their secrets. Into their perfect world slips Leman, a new teacher at the exclusive Yıldızhan College, whose acceptance into their circle seems unlikely… until she saves their children from a scandal that could ruin them. But Leman hasn’t come to Güzelköy for the schools or the scenery. A trail of clues has led her here, to the town’s manicured streets and the powerful women at its core. Leman is out to find her father’s killer, a mystery that has haunted her for years. She’s determined to make someone pay — even if it means playing by their own ruthless rules. As Leman works her way deeper into their glittering world, each step draws her closer to the truth — and deeper into danger. Meanwhile, the lifelong loner becomes hopelessly infatuated with a dangerous liaison that could upset everything. Alliances shift, old wounds are reopened, and the line between predator and prey begins to blur. In Güzelköy, where appearances are everything, Leman is about to discover just how far the women who run it will go to protect their own. Among the hottest new fall series MADD brings to Cannes is Envy, the new Ay Yapim drama airing Tuesday nights on NOW under the title Kıskanmak. Envy is the powerful story of a woman who has finally had enough. Seniha spent her entire life on the margins of her own family — unloved by her status-obsessed mother and constantly overshadowed by her brilliant and charming brother Halit. While he becomes one of the country’s most successful attorneys and enjoys every privilege their wealth provides, Seniha is becoming an aging spinster, living like a servant in the very mansion where she was born. But when her brother’s secret relationship with a nightclub singer threatens the family’s reputation, Seniha finally seizes an opportunity by exposing her brother and arranging a respectable marriage for him. In exchange, her mother agrees to give Seniha the inheritance she was long denied. When Halit humiliates her in front of their guests and her mother reneges on their agreement, Seniha’s years of buried anger and jealousy finally boil over. Standing alone on the balcony of their mansion, convinced she has nothing left to live for, Seniha prepares to end it all. But in that final moment, fate intervenes — and instead of surrendering, something darker awakens inside her. Produced by Ay Yapim, KISKANMAK is inspired by Nahid Sırrı Örik 's classic novel. Her story of love and revenge has been updated for the 21st century by writer Yılmaz Şahin (My Wonderful Life, Magnificent Century) and director Nadim Güç (Woman, Chrysalis, Mother). The prestige drama features a star-studded cast, including Özgü Namal (Red Roses, Ladies’ Farm), Hafsanur Sancaktutan (Black Heart, If You Love, The Last Summer, Love Makes You Cry, Gülperi), Selahattin Paşalı (Ömer, Love 101, The Choice), Mehmet Günsür (My Mother’s Tale, Phi, Magnificent Century), Beril Pozam (Golden Boy, Be My Sunshine) and Ayda Aksel (Gülcemal, Hercai). Envy launched in primetime this September on NOW. RELATED
