The TRT World Forum 2025 is set to take place in Istanbul from October 31 to November 1, once again bringing together leading global figures to discuss the issues shaping today’s world.
Under the theme “Global Reset: From the Old Order to New Realities,” the Forum will explore how societies and nations are adapting to a rapidly changing world. Since its debut in 2017, the annual gathering has attracted thousands of participants, including academics, journalists, policymakers, and representatives of civil society organizations committed to advancing meaningful dialogue on global challenges. This year’s Forum will include discussions on diplomacy, economics, artificial intelligence, and conflict reporting, reflecting both regional and international priorities. Key public sessions will cover topics such as strategic autonomy, media freedom, trade conflicts, international law, and AI innovation, featuring expert speakers offering perspectives from across the globe. Past Forums have welcomed prominent figures such as Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine; Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, President of the Republic of Kosovo; Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania; Awn Al-Khasawneh, Former Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; and Dalia Grybauskaitė, Former President of Lithuania. Continuing this tradition, the 2025 edition will be officially opened by H.E.
