TV host, editor Petro Tsurukin was killed in action, he City Council of Truskavets, where Petro hailed from, reported.

They noted that Tsurukin had been considered missing for over half a year.

"Unfortunately, our worst fears were confirmed – the Hero warrior really died. We express our sincere condolences to his mother Lesia Vasylivna, his family, friends and everyone who knew the late Petro," the City Council wrote.

Petro Tsurukin previously worked at STB as the chief editor of the One for All"project and was a host at the channel KYIV LIVE.

According to the Institute of Mass Information, Dmytro Sinchenko is the 74th media worker to die as a result of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
