Around 30.000 Starlink terminals are already operating in Ukraine, the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov informed.

"Recently, we received a new batch from Poland – 8.000 terminals. We transfer a significant part of them to hot spots. There are already hundreds of Starlinks working there so that Ukrainians can call an ambulance or work during blackouts. During 10 months of full-scale war, they managed to secure almost 30.000 Starlinks for Ukraine," the minister noted.

According to him, the team of the Ministry of Digital Affairs continues to work to ensure that Ukraine receives even more Starlink terminals.

"Starlink terminals have become part of the critical infrastructure of Ukraine. Thanks to them, Ukrainians stay connected where the usual network does not work during power outages," Fedorov added.

In December, the Verkhovna Rada canceled duty and VAT on generators and Starlink.
