Domestic access to TikTok in Azerbaijan is temporarily restricted, Trend reports via State Security Service of Azerbaijan, Trend news agency informs.

"On September 12-13 this year, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces took retaliatory measures against the large-scale provocation committed by the armed forces of Armenia on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. Publications aimed at forming a false opinion in society, casting a shadow on the success of our army, and information containing military secrets, is being distributed on the TikTok social network. In this regard, it was decided to temporarily restrict access to TikTok in Azerbaijan. The State Security Service urges citizens not to believe such false information disseminated in other social networks, calculated to cause panic among the population, and refer only to official information," the message says.
