We kick off CEE Screenings 2019 with Film.UA's huge daily drama hit Love in Chains. After fascinating the Ukrainian audiences with its first season this spring, the period drama is currently breaking records in the Polish primetime on TVP1. Love in Chains was recently launched in Lithuania as continues its international roll-out with more territories.

Kateryna is a beautiful, clever girl and by the will of her godmother was raised as a lady of noble blood. However, in the eyes of everyone else she’s but a serf, baron Chervinskyi’s, property. On her road to freedom, she will have to endure many hardships: losing people she loves, becoming a slave to a woman who hates Kateryna and wishes death upon her, surviving a revolution, evading a deranged killer and escaping the grasp of a man who will stop at nothing to have her. But what exactly awaits Kateryna at the end of her quest for liberation?
