After the recent deals for local remakes in Poland and Romania, Endemol Shine Group confirmed today that The Wall will be also adapted in Hungary and Russia.

First rumors that The Wall will be produced in Russia appeared back in April but those were officially turned down. Now, ESG has confirmed that WeiT Media will be making the show for Rossiya 1 with 8 primetime episodes planned. RTL Hungary will be airing the show in its daily primetime slot and has commissioned 50 episodes for the first season.

As CEETV reported earlier, Antena 1 in Romania is producing 45 episodes for its fall season, while Endemol Shine Poland is adapting the format for TVP1.
